04/14/2026, 10:02During a working visit to the Osh Region, President Sadyr Zhaparov familiarised himself with the development plans for the Alay District.
The Head of State was briefed on the district’s socio-economic indicators and the implementation of projects aimed at improving the quality of life for the local population.
Adyl Saparov, the akim of the Alay District, noted that 20 facilities were completed last year, including schools, nurseries and paramedic-midwifery stations. Eight villages were supplied with clean drinking water.
In addition, 21 units of specialised equipment were purchased. 30.7 kilometres of internal roads were asphalted.
Speaking about plans for the current year, the district akim announced that a small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 4.4 MW would also be built in collaboration with private entrepreneurs.
