Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov Meets with Tajikistan's Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi in Khujand

A delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, arrived in the city of Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan, at the invitation of the Tajik side to participate in the celebrations dedicated to Tajikistan's Independence Day. During the official visit, a meeting was held between Deputy Chairman Edil Baisalov and Tajikistan's Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi. The Deputy Head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet conveyed greetings and congratulations from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, wishing prosperity, peace, and development to the Tajik state and its people. Edil Baisalov also personally congratulated Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi and the Tajik people on the occasion of Tajikistan's Independence Day. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, both bilaterally and multilaterally. They expressed hope that with the completion of negotiations on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, the interaction between the two countries would develop in all directions. The deputy heads of the governments of both countries noted that their nations have historically lived in peace and harmony, and expressed optimism that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan would continue to thrive based on the centuries-old friendship between the Kyrgyz and Tajik peoples.
