10/23/2026, 10:21The total volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan in August 2026 amounted to $269.6 million. The bulk of the funds came from CIS countries—$240.9 million. Another $28.7 million came from countries outside the CIS. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
Meanwhile, remittances sent from Kyrgyzstan abroad in August totaled $8.7 million. Of this amount, $3.2 million was sent to CIS countries, and $5.5 million to countries outside the CIS.
Thus, the volume of remittances received by the country significantly exceeded the amount of funds sent abroad.
