In Kyrgyzstan in 2024, 439 social projects will be implemented through incentive grants

On a project-competitive basis, KGS 1.5 billion has been allocated from the national budget for 2024 for incentive (share) grants for local self-governments. These funds are aimed at the development of socio-economic infrastructure: construction and repair of schools, kindergartens, medical centres and other facilities.

According to the approved Protocol of the Commission, 439 projects were accepted for implementation. Financing is carried out in tranches, as reports on completed works and disbursement of funds are submitted, including own and attracted budgets.

As of the end of November 2024, 427 projects totalling KGS 904.6 million have been financed from the national budget. The remaining projects will continue to receive funds depending on the readiness of reporting documentation.
