The State Enterprise ‘Kyrgyz Madaniyat Service’ has been established in Kyrgyzstan. What for?

The ‘Kyrgyz Madaniyat Service’ state enterprise under the Ministry of Culture has been established in Kyrgyzstan. The enterprise, founded on 28 August 2023, aims to meet the population's cultural needs and promote various types of art.

‘Kyrgyz Madaniyat Service’ is responsible for organising state-level cultural events: Days of Culture, festivals, competitions, official ceremonies, and tours of domestic and foreign creative groups. The enterprise also provides cultural institutions with the necessary technical equipment, develops the book publishing and artistic translations system, and provides services for monuments' design and installation.

"The “Kyrgyz Madaniyat Service” establishment allowed centralising the organisation of state events, previously held with the involvement of private companies. This improves the quality and reliability of events and simplifies the contracting process. The project is self-supported, and the revenues generated are reinvested in its development,’ the State Agency for State Property Management said.

‘Kyrgyz Madaniyat Service’ plans to build a facility for shooting video clips, open workshops and sound recording studios, and train technicians. The company also plans to purchase additional equipment for indoor events and develop a project to provide LED screens for rent and sale, which will minimise street banner use.
