More than 1 thousand units of agricultural machinery were leased out in Kyrgyzstan for 9 months of 2024

In January-September 2024, 1 thousand 6 units of agricultural machinery worth 3.8 billion KGS were leased in Kyrgyzstan. This is 156 units more compared to the similar period of last year, which is an increase of 700 million KGS. The press service of Minvodselprom reports about it.

The number of new machine and tractor stations (MTS) was 15 units, and 47 agricultural co-operatives were established. The number of entities that introduced drip irrigation systems reached 806 units, which allowed to irrigate an area of 1 thousand 321 hectares.

Greenhouse farms increased to 22 units, with an area of 5.9 hectares.
According to the National Statistical Committee, the processing of agricultural products produced food products worth 61.4 billion KGS during the period, 11.9 billion more than last year. The growth rate was 122.6%.

The number of trade and logistics centres in January-September 2024 reached 34 units, 2 centres more compared to the analogous period of 2023.
