The majority of houses and apartments — more than 76.8% — were built with funds from the citizens themselves.
In the first half of the year, 4,526 private houses with a total area of 598,400 square meters were built. This is slightly less than a year earlier, but the cost of construction increased by 2.5% to KGS 17.7 billion.
