On the eve, April 8, an annual campaign dedicated to improving financial literacy was launched in Kyrgyzstan. Global Money Week, held under the motto “Wisdom in the head, tomorrow money in the wallet”, helps young people to find reliable information about financial instruments.

From April 8 to 15, events such as open classes, training seminars, lectures, open days and excursions to banks, as well as interactive games and quizzes will be held across the country with the participation of government agencies, commercial banks, insurance companies and educational institutions.

The main focus of the events is financial security, money management skills and making informed financial decisions. The full plan of events is available on the official websites of the National Bank and finsabat.kg.

Global Money Week, known worldwide as Global Money Week (GMW), has been organized since 2012 and covers 176 countries. Its goal is to provide children and young people with access to quality financial education that promotes sound financial decision-making and strengthens their future financial position. In Kyrgyzstan, the week has been held since 2015 under the coordination of the National Bank.
