In March, more than 30,000 Kyrgyz citizens imposed a self-imposed ban on taking out loans

In Kyrgyzstan, the number of citizens using the self-exclusion service for loans via the Tündük mobile app continues to grow.

According to data from the National Bank as of March 27, 232,043 people have set up self-exclusion since the mechanism was launched (November 1, 2025).

At the same time, the trend in March shows steady growth:

  • as of February 27 — 200,677 people;
  • as of March 6 — 209,296 people;
  • as of March 13 — 218,121 people;
  • as of March 27 — 232,043 people.

Thus, in March alone, more than 31,000 people registered for the self-ban.

As a reminder, in Kyrgyzstan, the self-ban mechanism took effect on November 1, 2025. It allows citizens to voluntarily and free of charge prohibit the issuance of loans and credits in their name by financial institutions.
