A new Border Guard Service military compound covering 13.4 hectares is being built in Naryn

On 7 October, during a working visit to the Naryn Region, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, inspected the construction project for the new military compound of the Naryn Regional Border Guard Directorate.

The military compound is being built on a 13.4-hectare site. Construction began in the first quarter of 2026 and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027.

The site will house a headquarters, barracks, guard posts, a training room, a nursery with 60 places, a sports complex, a football pitch, a children’s playground and a guest house.

The project aims to create modern conditions for the service and accommodation of military personnel and their families, as well as to strengthen the logistical base of the Border Guard Service.

Sadyr Zhaparov instructed that particular attention be paid to the quality of construction, the landscaping of the site and the conditions for military personnel and their families.
