06/20/2025, 17:56Officers of the SCNS KR together with the Osh Customs revealed a stable transnational criminal group that had been smuggling cigarettes to Osh oblast for several years.
According to the investigation, in 2019, several Kyrgyz citizens, with the support of a high-ranking person, created an illegal channel for the supply of large consignments of cigarettes. First, the goods were officially imported and placed under arrest, then transferred to custody, from where they were subsequently stolen and exported out of the country.
The smugglers acted according to a pre-established scheme: with the assistance of employees of the warehouse of BMi Osh Service, they stole the seized goods and sold them in Kazakhstan without paying customs duties.
The damage to the state from this scheme exceeded 42 million. Three suspects - O.Z.K., Z.S.A. and B.N.Y. - have already been detained. - have already been detained. The Osh City Court has taken them into custody in the GKNB pre-trial detention center. The investigation continues
