Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev took part in the opening ceremony of the renovated Aichurok cinema in the city of Uzgen, which underwent major repairs.
The cinema is equipped with modern technical equipment and has been modernised.
«Culture is the spiritual foundation of a nation. By developing culture, we can raise a well-educated generation. Therefore, the opening of a modern cinema for the residents and guests of Uzgen is a necessity today. The transformations in the city are not limited to the renovation of the cinema. New water supply and sewerage systems are being built. In addition, a central stadium is being built, and roads are being renovated and paved», — he said.
The cinema building, constructed in 1974, was in need of major repairs and modern technical equipment. 38 million KGS from the local budget, the Uzgen district development fund and the regional development fund were allocated for the repair work. The cinema has a capacity of more than 350 seats.
Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev took part in the opening ceremony of a new 60-bed hospital in the rural district of Myrza-Ake in the Uzgen district. Construction began in 2023.
«It is particularly important that the hospital is located close to populated areas. The Cabinet of Ministers has set the task of creating one hospital equipped for surgical operations in each district where the distance between settlements is more than 100 kilometres. If the hospital is located far away, there is a high risk that the patient will not be delivered on time, which can lead to tragic consequences. We are steadily moving towards this goal», — said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
He stressed that sufficient attention is being paid to improving the qualifications of doctors, and we note with satisfaction the improvement in the quality of education in medical universities.
«A healthy nation is the foundation of a strong state. This hospital will provide the local population with access to quality medical care, which will have a positive impact on the standard of living of citizens», — he stressed.
KGS 132 million has been allocated from the state budget for the construction of the hospital, and another KGS 21 million for equipping it with modern medical equipment.
In addition, Adylbek Kasymaliyev took part in the opening of a brick factory in the rural district of Karool, Uzgen district. It should be noted that this factory is one of 128 enterprises planned to be launched this year.
«We have increased the authorised capital of the State Mortgage Company. As part of this programme, a number of multi-storey residential buildings are being constructed. In addition, citizens are independently investing their own funds in the construction of individual housing. In this regard, the demand for building materials is growing. The opening of the brick factory will play an important role in solving this problem», — said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
The construction of the plant was financed by Iman Building LLC in the amount of S 4 million. The plant is built on a 5-hectare site and will produce about 120,000 bricks per day, creating jobs for local residents.
