02/04/2025, 17:58The Prosecutor's Office of Osh region revealed facts of embezzlement of budget funds during the repair of secondary school ‘Borbash’ named after K. Akmatov, located in Kok-Zhar aiyl okmotu of Nookat district.
The inspection showed that the work to replace the heating system, repair and construction of an additional room had not actually been carried out, but the acceptance certificates were forged and the budget funds were transferred to the contractor. As a result, the State suffered damage in the amount of 1,145,600 soms.
The Prosecutor's Office initiated criminal proceedings for ‘Abuse of official position, Misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property’ and official forgery.
The Investigative Service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Osh oblast is in charge of the investigation.
