    Uzbekistan has changed tariffs for lorries

    From 1 January 2025, new rates of fees for the entry and transit of foreign trucks came into force in Uzbekistan. For Kyrgyz carriers, the rates remained unchanged, Gazeta.UZ reported.

    from 10 to 20 tonnes - $180 (previously $100);

    over 20 tonnes - $250 (previously $150).

    Additionally, charges for transporting goods from third countries and exporting goods from Uzbekistan by Turkmen lorries have been increased. This tariff increased by $200, from $175 to $375.

    New rules have been introduced for trucks from the European Union and Azerbaijan, depending on the time the transport stays in Uzbekistan: $80 for up to 14 days and $280 for more than 14 days.

    Iranian carriers are now exempted from paying fees.
