05/14/2025, 13:42Today, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, MP Mirgul Temirabaeva raised the issue of the availability of air transport for residents of the Leylek district of the Baitken region.
She reported that recently there have been numerous complaints from citizens about changes to flight schedules. Previously, two airlines, Tez Jet and Asman Airlines, provided regular flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. However, Tez Jet has suspended its flights, and now only Asman flies to Leylek.
In addition, ticket prices have risen significantly: whereas previously a ticket cost between 4,250 and 4,500 KGS, it now costs 6.800 KGS.
«This has become an additional burden for residents of the district, for whom travelling by car takes too much time and effort, given that Leylek is one of the most remote areas of Kyrgyzstan», — she said.
In this regard, the deputy called for monitoring the situation with air transport and taking measures to improve the accessibility of air services for residents of the Leylek district.
