07/17/2025, 17:23Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev conducted an on-site inspection of an unauthorized landfill in the Sarban area, which was previously considered to have been liquidated. During the inspection, violations of construction, sanitary, and environmental standards by the operating company were identified. The mayor ordered an additional inspection with the participation of the Municipal Inspection and the relevant supervisory authorities.
Following the inspection, reports were drawn up under Article 115 of the Code of Administrative Offences against the tenants, Talantbekova Ch.T. and Ak Bura Trans Service LLC. The Municipal Inspection issued an order to eliminate the violations, including fencing off the site and prohibiting the discharge of waste. Two days were given to comply with the requirements.
The mayor noted that the site had previously been reclaimed, but now the waste was back in the water.
“This is a threat of an environmental disaster,” Dzhunushaliyev emphasized. The site is currently being cleaned up.
