With the geoservice assistance users can find places of interest, cafes, stores, car services and other organizations, and also plan routes to them. Moreover, routes can now be built between cities and regions of Kyrgyzstan or even travel with 2GIS navigator to neighbouring countries, such as Kazakhstan and Russia. After the large-scale update, 2GIS provides reference information on more than 90 thousand organizations in Kyrgyzstan, and more than 1 million buildings are marked on the map, more than 6.2 thousand km of roads are detailed.
Now 2GIS detailed maps cover the entire country - almost five times more than before.
Specialists from the 2GIS office in Kyrgyzstan regularly update maps and reference information in the geo service, maintaining a high level of data relevance. In addition, companies and users may also report changes - for example, a new address of a company or the appearance of a new organization using the “Report an Error” form. Daily, foot specialists walk through cities and check buildings, streets and organizations.
"We travelled and added mountain roads and mountain passes into 2GIS. We calculated travel time because speed in the mountains and on the plain is different. We marked places where only a four-wheel drive car can pass and marked all organizations and facilities along the routes. In general, we did everything to make it comfortable for the user to live and travel around the country,” Director of 2GIS in Kyrgyzstan, Vsevolod Perfiliev said.
The map, organization directory and navigator for Kyrgyzstan are available in mobile versions of 2GIS for Android and iOS, as well as on the website.
If you use 2GIS in a place with reliable Internet, you do not need to download anything additionally: the directory and map will be downloaded online. And if you are going to a place with no stable Internet, download the Kyrgyzstan project in the list of cities in the 2GIS application.
