Kyrgyzstan’s GDP grew by 11.1% over seven months

Kyrgyzstan’s gross domestic product for the period January–July 2026 stood at 1 trillion 172.7 billion KGS. According to preliminary estimates by the National Statistics Committee, GDP increased by 11.1% compared with the same period last year.

The main contribution to growth came from the goods-producing sectors, which saw output rise by 19.9%. In the services sector, growth stood at 6.1%, whilst net taxes on goods rose by 11.2%. The share of goods production in the GDP structure rose from 30.9% to 34.2%, whilst the share of services fell from 53.5% to 49.8%.

The highest growth rates were recorded in construction – 60.6%. Industrial production increased by 11.1 per cent, trade by 8.4 per cent, and agriculture, forestry and fisheries by 6 per cent. Meanwhile, the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning fell by 0.2 per cent.
