Wildberries and Russ have implemented an AI system to combat fraudsters

The combined company Wildberries and Russ has launched its own artificial intelligence-based anti-fraud system that detects and blocks ‘droppers’ - account holders used in illegal schemes. The algorithm analyses about 10,000 financial transactions per second, identifying suspicious transactions with 99.99% accuracy.

When signs of fraud are detected, the system automatically restricts access to financial instruments, and the data of violators are entered into special lists. Since the beginning of 2025, the company's security service has already prevented more than 15 thousand attempts to use ‘dropper’ accounts.

Additionally, Wildberries and Russ are developing the cyber awareness of users by launching the portal security.wildberries.ru. It publishes materials on common fraudulent schemes and methods of protection.
