The licence fee is paid by new sellers when registering a personal account on the WB Partners portal. The payment ensures that the seller is registering on the platform with a genuine intention to do business. The marketplace credits the payment amount in the form of bonuses to the advertising account balance, which sellers can spend on promoting their products.
For Wildberries sellers in CIS countries, the licence fee will be equivalent to the amount in the national currency. It is calculated based on the exchange rate in effect on the date the change is implemented.
In addition to this change, the company is seeking to further strengthen its logistics infrastructure during periods of high sales and is taking ongoing measures to increase the amount of space available for storing sellers' goods. For example, in the summer, warehouse capacity was increased by 50%.
Wildberries has also launched a special promotion for partners with free storage of goods at six of the company's key warehouses — these conditions will apply to partners until the end of the year. Moreover, for 60 days from the date of delivery, the marketplace will store goods free of charge at any of its warehouses as additional support at the beginning of the autumn-winter sales season.
