Kyrgyzstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves grew 1.6 times over the year

Since May 2023, the international reserves of Kyrgyzstan have demonstrated steady growth. During this time, they have grown 2.2 times, from $2 bln 408.21 mln. Such data is provided by the NBKR.

Moreover, if in February 2024 gross reserves amounted to $3 billion 323 million, by February this year they increased to $5 billion 295 million. Thus, the growth amounted to $1 billion 972 million or about 59.3%.

The liquid part of reserves for the same period also showed positive dynamics, increasing from $3 bln 248 mln to $5 bln 223 mln.
