Over the course of a week, more than 19,000 Kyrgyz citizens imposed a self-ban on taking out loans

During the first week of November, more than 19,000 people imposed a self-ban on obtaining loans through the Tunduk mobile application. This was reported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since 1 November, citizens of Kyrgyzstan have had the opportunity to impose a self-ban on lending. The mechanism was initiated by deputies and then signed by the president.

Self-imposed restrictions on borrowing are a free and voluntary option for Kyrgyz citizens to limit in advance the possibility of taking out loans and credits in their name from financial and credit institutions. This will protect the rights, interests, deposits and financial independence of citizens.
