Orders cannot be placed, the app is running slowly: Yandex Kyrgyzstan explains the disruptions

Yandex users have encountered disruptions to the services: some are unable to place orders, the app is running slowly, and there have also been complaints about price rises.

The Yandex Kyrgyzstan press office has confirmed the issues. They stated that some services may be experiencing errors or be temporarily unavailable. Teams are working to resolve the issues.

“Complex technological services, including Yandex, require a great deal of computing power to operate. Tasks are therefore distributed across servers in different countries. If a disruption occurs in one country, certain service functions may also become unavailable in another,” the company explained.

The press office added that, in the event of disruptions, tasks are transferred to other servers to restore service and reduce the likelihood of further disruptions.

Earlier, the company also apologised to users and noted that the issues may affect drivers, couriers, restaurants and shops. No exact timeframe for restoration has yet been given.
