There are 8,035 consumers registered in the city of Mailuu-Suu, of which 6,850 residential subscribers are equipped with modern smart meters. The installation of the devices began in March this year, after which they were completely transferred to automated remote control.
This system allows electricity to be metered online, without employees having to visit consumers' homes. The city's residents have responded positively to these digital upgrades.
In addition, the Mailuu-Suu RES has carried out repair and capital works. This included maintenance of 50 transformers and 170.5 kilometres of overhead lines. Ten transformers and 6.7 kilometres of overhead lines were completely renovated. In addition, 44 obsolete wooden poles were replaced with new reinforced concrete ones. For the safe operation of the lines, 126.96 kilometres of the route were cleared of branches and trees. As part of the plan for 2025, an additional transformer substation was installed, and 0.6 kilometres of 0.4 kV overhead lines were built and commissioned.
The main goal of the work carried out is to provide the city of Mailuu-Suu with uninterrupted, safe and high-quality electricity, as well as to improve the level of service to the population.
Last week, a new service office for the Mailuu-Suu RES was also officially launched. Previously, employees worked in an old kindergarten building.
