The land under the ‘Tai Break’ tennis court in Bishkek was returned to the state

The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported that the land plot in the park named after Panfilov, where the tennis court ‘Tai Break’ used to be located, has been returned to the state.

The area of the plot is 0.48 hectares and its value is estimated at almost 269 million KGS. According to the SCNS, the land was illegally transferred into private ownership through a corruption scheme organised with the participation of high-ranking officials.

The court recognised the actions as illegal, and the plot now belongs to the state again. The SCNS continues to work on the return of other properties that were previously privatised in violation of the law and is preparing to prosecute those responsible for the scheme.
