Residents of Uzgen District were taught how to draw up personal and family budgets

The Osh Regional Office of the National Bank held a scheduled outreach lecture on financial literacy for the public and employees of the aiyl okmotu in the village of Zazy, Uzgen District, Osh Region.

The lecture provided information on the role and functions of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the history of the national currency, the stages of its development and security features.

In addition, attendees learned about various types of loans and deposits, electronic financial services, as well as issues of financial security, consumer protection, the use of QR codes, sensible handling of funds, saving behaviour, financial planning, setting financial goals, including drawing up family and personal budgets.
