In 1997, the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic registered a new commercial bank, KyrgyzCredit Bank, with authorized capital of 15 million KGS.
In 1998, the Bank obtained a license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for operations in national and foreign currency.
On March 28, 2016, the Department of Supervision and Licensing Methodology of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic made a decision on preliminary consent to change the name of KyrgyzCredit Bank OJSC to Eurasian Savings Bank OJSC.
