The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has updated its official exchange rates for 23 October. The KGS has weakened against the euro, the Russian rouble, the Kazakh tenge and the Chinese yuan. The dollar exchange rate remained virtually unchanged.

The euro rose by 0.14 per cent — from 98.1014 to 98.2403 KGS. The Russian rouble rose by 0.77 per cent — from 1.0596 to 1.0678 KGS.

The Kazakh tenge rose by 0.21 per cent — from 0.1948 to 0.1952 KGS, whilst the Chinese yuan rose by 0.05 per cent — from 13.0983 to 13.1045 KGS. The official dollar exchange rate fell by 0.001 per cent – from 87.4500 to 87.4491 KGS.

The management company of the “Tamchy” investment zone will transfer 0.03% of its revenues to the budget
The Cabinet of Ministers has set the rate of contributions to the republican budget from the revenues of the management company of the “Tamchy” Special Financial Investment Zone at 0.03%. This rate will be in effect during the zone’s technical launch phase and until it begins full-scale operations.
