The total volume of agricultural production in Kyrgyzstan for January-March 2025 amounted to almost 41.9 billion KGS, which is 2.5% more in real terms compared to the same period last year.

The main growth factor was livestock production, which provided 98.1% of the total agricultural output. Crop production contributed 1%, fisheries 0.2%, and related agricultural services 0.7%.

Peasant and private subsidiary farms produced 94.9% of total agricultural output, which confirms their importance for the country's food security. By region, the highest production volume was recorded in Chui oblast (24.9%), followed by Osh oblast (18%) and Jalal-Abad oblast (16%). Issyk-Kul oblast showed the highest growth of almost 10%. At the same time, Bishkek showed a decrease in agricultural production by more than 29%, and the indicators of Osh city practically did not change.
