06/04/2026, 17:00The National Bank of Kazakhstan has drafted amendments to two of its resolutions. The document has been published on the ‘Open Regulatory Acts’ portal, according to Ulysmedia.kz.
The proposed changes are of a technical nature and do not affect monetary policy or the rules governing operations. The main adjustment concerns terminology: in the documents, it is proposed to replace the word ‘tenge’ with ‘tenge’.
As explained by the regulator, the amendments are aimed at bringing regulatory acts into line with the new version of the Constitution, adopted by referendum on 15 March 2026. As part of the updates, the official spelling of the national currency in legal documents is also being standardised.
