03/12/2025, 09:27Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev met with British Ambassador Nicholas Bowler and international experts. The issue of using English law to settle investment disputes was discussed.
The main attention was paid to the creation of an independent arbitration court, which will work on the principles of English law. This will help investors feel more protected and increase the attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan for international business.
Also discussed was the idea of creating a special investment territory (SIT) with a special legal regime that would make it easier to do business and attract new projects.
‘We are striving to improve the investment climate and are ready to study international experience,’ Kasymaliev emphasised.
In turn, Ambassador Bowler said that the UK supports Kyrgyzstan in these initiatives.
