Airports of Kyrgyzstan approved the purchase of two aircraft for Asman Airlines

At an extraordinary general meeting, the shareholders of Airports of Kyrgyzstan approved the purchase of new aircraft for Asman Airlines.

The meeting was held on 31 October in person with a quorum of 90.27%. The shareholders unanimously approved the purchase of two medium-range aircraft for the subsidiary, Asman Airlines, in which the company owns a 100% stake.

The new aircraft are expected to enable Asman Airlines to expand its route network, increase the comfort and regularity of flights, and improve the load factors of the republic's airports.

We would like to add that in early September, the third aircraft for Asman Airlines arrived in Kyrgyzstan. It was a Dash 8 Q400 with a capacity of up to 80 passengers. At that time, the company announced that it was considering the purchase of Airbus A320/A321 and Boeing 737 aircraft. This will allow it to open new international routes.
