11/20/2025, 13:39The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, in conjunction with industry business associations, held a practical seminar for representatives of the domestic garment industry. Participants discussed the operation of the “Honest Mark” labeling system, which is operated in the country by Alfa Telecom CJSC.
Company representatives explained the key principles of the system, the procedure for obtaining and using codes, and data control mechanisms. According to experts, the introduction of labeling increases the transparency of goods turnover, reduces the risks of illegal imports, and strengthens confidence in export markets.
The Ministry of Economy plans to hold similar training seminars on a regular basis. To support the industry, the Kyrgyz Export Center's operational headquarters provides consultations to entrepreneurs in the garment and textile sectors.
