Almambet Shykmatov has been reintroduced to the State Security Service team, now as head of an independent body under the Cabinet of Ministers

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiyev once again introduced the head of the State Tax Service, Almamet Shikmatov, to the staff.

This appointment followed President Sadyr Zhaparov's decree to remove the Tax Service from the structure of the Ministry of Finance and include it in the Cabinet of Ministers as an independent state body.

Introducing the head of the service, Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the decision to reorganise was made in order to streamline bureaucratic procedures and improve the efficiency of the tax authorities.

He added that the service is now responsible for developing and controlling the circulation of alcoholic beverages, as well as precious metals and jewellery, and expressed hope that the results of these decisions and their effectiveness will become apparent in the near future.

In turn, Almamet Shykmamatov expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and assured that he would make every effort to achieve the set goals.
