Asman Airlines and Turkish Airlines discussed expanding cooperation

With the support of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul, Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan, held a working meeting with Bilal Ekşi, Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines. Chyngyz Toktobekov, Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul, also participated in the talks.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding cooperation between the national airline Asman Airlines and Turkish Airlines. The Turkish side confirmed its readiness to work together and expressed its intention to increase the number of passenger and cargo flights, including flights with technical stops at Manas International Airport.

Such cooperation creates new opportunities for the development of Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure and improving the quality of air transportation within the country and on international routes.

The CEO of Turkish Airlines noted the high importance of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and was officially invited by the Kyrgyz side to the opening of the renovated terminal complex of Manas International Airport, which is scheduled for summer 2026.
