SCAT Airlines Launches a Charter Program Between Bishkek and Sanya

Starting in early December 2026, SCAT Airlines will begin operating a charter program of direct flights on the Bishkek–Sanya–Bishkek route.

The launch of this direct service will allow passengers from Kyrgyzstan to travel conveniently and without layovers to the popular Chinese resort destination of Sanya on Hainan Island.

The new charter program will expand opportunities for tourism between Kyrgyzstan and China and provide an additional direct route for passengers from Bishkek.

The launch of these flights coincides with the simplification of travel requirements to China. As a reminder, the Chinese government has introduced a visa-free regime for Kyrgyz citizens visiting Hainan Island and transiting through Chinese territory for up to 10 days.

Sanya is located in the south of Hainan Island and is one of China’s major beach resorts. Before the launch of the charter program, passengers traveling there from Bishkek generally had to take flights with layovers.

It should be noted that on September 23, Adylbek Kasymaliev, during a meeting with Li Qiang, proposed considering the launch of a direct flight between the two cities.
