    Bishkek City Hall Signs Cooperation Memorandums with Two Chinese Cities

    A meeting was held at the Bishkek City Hall between Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and a delegation from the Shunyi District of Beijing, led by Mr. Li Zaidon, Chairman of the District Committee of the Communist Party of China and Head of the United Front Work Department of the Shunyi District.

    During the meeting, the mayor noted that attracting investment is a priority under the Belt and Road Initiative, and Bishkek is actively involved in these processes. In 2024 alone, the volume of investment attracted exceeded $1 billion.

    Following the meeting, memoranda of cooperation were signed between the Bishkek City Hall and the People's Governments of the cities of Mulun and Mapo (Shunyi District, Beijing). The documents provide for the exchange of experience in the field of economic development and the joint implementation of investment projects, including the development and operation of trade and commercial infrastructure.

    The parties expressed mutual gratitude and confirmed their intention to continue constructive dialogue.
