The boiler house, which was commissioned in 1974, underwent the first stage of reconstruction at a cost of 206 million KGS, of which 200 million KGS were allocated from the Stabilisation Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. The project aims to improve the reliability of heat supply and reduce the cost of thermal energy.
In the first stage, six gas boilers with a capacity of 10 MW each were installed, which will provide 13,000 subscribers with heat and hot water. The cost of thermal energy will decrease from 6,679.78 to approximately 5,500 KGS per Gcal, and when new subscribers are connected, it will decrease to 5,000 KGS.
The next stages of the reconstruction will involve the installation of additional boilers, the expansion of heating networks and the construction of a 100 MW cogeneration plant with a 110 kV substation.
