11/10/2025, 16:08The capital of Kyrgyzstan was once again among the cities with high levels of pollution — Bishkek ranked 10th in the world ranking as of 11 November 2025.

According to data from the IQAir platform, the concentration of PM2.5 particulate matter in Bishkek is currently 121, which is 8.7 times higher than the World Health Organisation's recommended standard. This indicator is classified as harmful to health.
While the air in Bishkek has reached dangerous levels of pollution, air quality in other cities in Kyrgyzstan remains good or moderate.
