09/07/2026, 13:07An international tourist train operated by the German company Lernidee Erlebnisreisen GmbH has arrived in Bishkek, carrying tourists from Western Europe, North America and East Asia.
The state-owned enterprise ‘NK “Kyrgyz Temir Jolu”’ organised a ceremonial welcome and an exhibition of folk crafts for the foreign guests. The tourists were shown shyrdaks, felt items, traditional household objects and other elements of Kyrgyz culture. This allowed the guests to gain a deeper insight into the traditions and experience the atmosphere of Kyrgyz hospitality.
Following the ceremonial welcome, the tourists set off on a sightseeing tour of the capital. Throughout the day, the guests will visit Bishkek’s main attractions and learn about its history, architecture and modern city life.
The train comprises 11 modern, comfortable carriages, carrying more than 70 tourists from various countries around the world.
The State Enterprise ‘Kyrgyz Temir Jolu’ ensures that the tourist train runs to schedule and provides all the necessary conditions for a safe and comfortable stay for foreign guests in the Kyrgyz Republic.
