Kyrgyzstan’s 2025 budget has been executed with a surplus of over 52 billion KGS

The Central Treasury of the Ministry of Finance held a public hearing on the execution of the republican budget, which forms part of the state budget for 2025, chaired by the department’s Deputy Director, Talant Keldibekov.

State budget revenue amounted to 669 billion 475.9 million KGS against a target of 662 billion 101.3 million KGS, representing 101.1% of the target.

At the end of the year, state budget expenditure reached 617 billion 3.5 million KGS; the state budget was executed with a surplus of 52 billion 47.4 million KGS. In 2024, the surplus stood at 37 billion 650.7 million KGS.

Total revenue of the national budget amounted to 611 billion 874.4 million KGS, against a target of 605 billion 707 million KGS, representing 101.1% of the target. Compared with 2024, revenue increased by 47.4%, or by 194 billion 341.4 million KGS.

Expenditure from the national budget amounted to 560 billion 487.7 million KGS, against a target of 590 billion 617.4 million KGS, representing 95% of the target. Budget execution reached 98%.

At the end of the year, the national budget was executed with a surplus of 51 billion 386.7 million KGS, reflecting the balance of budgetary policy and the effective management of public finances.
