Chakan HPP exceeded its 2024 power generation target

In 2024, Chakan HPP successfully exceeded the plan for electricity generation. The planned volume amounted to 178.2 million kWh, and actually generated 183.4 million kWh, which is 3% more than planned. This also resulted in a 3.1% increase in electricity supply to the grid.

The main source of generation was the Alameda HPP Cascade, consisting of eight hydropower plants with a total capacity of 29.8 MW. Additional contributions were made by Bystrov HPP (8.7 MW), Bala-Saruu HPP (25 MW) and FES BSR HPP-5 (0.1 MW).

Compared to 2023, when 133.3 million kWh was produced, electricity generation in 2024 increased by 50.1 million kWh, indicating a steady increase in production and improved performance.
