According to Appfigures analysts, it was installed 46 million times, which is 28% more than in February. For the first time in history, an application based on artificial intelligence topped the global top among all mobile services.

ChatGPT surpassed such giants as Instagram and TikTok, becoming a true symbol of everyday interest in AI. Analysts attribute this leap in popularity to new features - the app can now generate images, including animations, and supports an improved voice mode. The softening of moderation has also opened up more options for users.

Today, ChatGPT is no longer just a chatbot, but a full-fledged creative assistant: it helps to write texts, come up with ideas, create visuals and solve tasks on the go.
Instagram took second place in March, TikTok - third. WhatsApp, Telegram and Threads were also in the top ten. In total, users downloaded more than 339 million mobile apps in March - 40 million more than in February.
