11/20/2025, 12:50According to data for 2024, the total number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kyrgyzstan reached 25,519, of which 24,614 were small and 905 were medium-sized enterprises. The greatest growth is observed among small enterprises in the manufacturing industry.
In 2023, there were 1,739 small enterprises in the manufacturing sector, and in 2024, their number increased to 2,011, which is an increase of 272 units or 15.7%. In total, the manufacturing industry in the country includes 2,129 enterprises, including 118 medium-sized ones.
The growth in the number of small enterprises is also observed in other sectors: mining, energy, and agriculture.
