According to the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, the benefit was provided to 191,796 recipients in July. In September, this figure rose to 232,529, and in October to 252,699.
Thus, over three months, the number of recipients increased by 60,903 people, or 31.8 per cent. In the last month alone, the increase amounted to 20,170 people, or 8.7 per cent.
As the programme’s coverage expands, so too do the budgetary expenditure on it. In September, 285.6 million KGS were allocated for payments; by October, this had risen to 310.5 million KGS. The increase in funding over the month amounted to approximately 24.9 million KGS, or the same 8.7 per cent.
The ‘Bala Yrysy’ programme has been in operation since 1 July 2026 and is intended for families with children under the age of three. The benefit is applied for digitally via the ‘Tündük’ system, as well as through the regional offices of the Ministry of Labour, after which the funds are transferred to the recipients’ bank accounts.
The rapid growth in the number of recipients during the programme’s first few months indicates that coverage continues to expand as families join the new benefit allocation system.
