A deputy proposed to send employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Labor to Russia to help legalize Kyrgyz citizens

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on 11 June, deputy Ulukbek Ormonov suggested sending employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration to Russia to help Kyrgyz citizens with the legalization procedure.

He recalled that the legalization deadline has been extended until September, but many citizens still have not had time to draw up documents.

"We urge citizens to go through the procedure of legalization of stay as soon as possible. We have two ministries responsible for migration issues - the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Labor and Migration. We need to second their employees to Russia for two months," Ormonov said.

He said such employees could provide comprehensive assistance to migrants, working not only at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Moscow, but also in major cities where many Kyrgyz live, such as Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.

"The issue of legalization needs to be solved locally. I ask the Cabinet of Ministers to consider and solve this issue," the MP added.
