06/04/2026, 16:08In January–April 2026, production in the mining sector in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 28.55 billion KGS. Compared with the same period in 2025, growth in real terms stood at 23.8%.
The main contributor to this positive trend was an increase in the extraction of other minerals, which rose 2.6-fold. There was also a 32.4% increase in the extraction of metal ores and a 6.1% increase in coal extraction.
At the same time, declines were observed in certain sectors. Crude oil and natural gas production volumes fell by 9.5%. Within the structure of industrial production, the share of mineral extraction stood at 9.5%.
