11/21/2025, 17:55South Korean company Dohwa Engineering has completed the installation of an automated liquid feeding system at the IWS Agro smart farm as part of the Smart Farm 2025 project, which will increase yields by up to 50% and reduce water and energy consumption by 30-40%.
The system, costing 600,000 KGS ($70,000), provides accurate automatic dosing of nutrients in real time. The technology was patented in 2023 and certified according to Korean KS standards in 2024.

IWS Agro currently grows mini cucumbers, tomatoes and strawberries on 23 hectares, producing more than 474 tonnes of produce per year and creating about 150 jobs for local residents. Dohwa Engineering will provide ongoing technical support for the system.
The company is also considering the possibility of introducing the technology in other greenhouse complexes and in Kyrgyzstan's planned 350-hectare Illustrated Export Agrozone (AAC).
