05/31/2026, 13:04Kyrgyzstan’s state budget revenues for January–April reached 295.4 billion KGS. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 83.1 billion KGS, or 39.2%.
According to data from the Ministry of Finance, tax revenues were the main driver of this growth. In the first four months of this year, the budget received 183.8 billion KGS in tax revenues, compared to 130.8 billion KGS a year earlier. The increase amounted to 53 billion KGS, or 40.5%.
As is traditional, the State Tax Service made the largest contribution to tax revenues. From January through April, 127.6 billion KGS were collected by the State Tax Service and transferred to the budget. This is 38.8 billion KGS, or 43.69%, more than during the same period last year.
Customs payments also showed growth. Revenues through the State Customs Service increased from 42 billion KGS to 56.3 billion KGS. Thus, over the year, customs provided the budget with an additional 14.3 billion KGS, representing a 34% increase.
Revenues to the national budget rose from 193.1 billion KGS to 275.3 billion KGS, an increase of 42.6%. Local budget revenues also showed positive growth, reaching 29.8 billion KGS compared to 26.2 billion KGS a year earlier.
