Revenue to the Kyrgyz state budget for the first half of the year exceeded 440 billion KGS

Kyrgyzstan’s state budget revenue for the first half of the year rose by 134.6 billion KGS, or 44 per cent, compared with the same period last year.

According to the budget implementation report, the state budget received 305.9 billion KGS in the first six months of 2025, whereas for the same period this year, the figure stood at 440.5 billion KGS.

Tax revenues remain the main source of income, as is traditional. Over the year, they rose from 199.2 billion KGS to 279 billion KGS, an increase of almost 40.1 per cent.

The State Tax Service accounted for the largest share of tax revenue. Its collections increased from 135.1 billion KGS to 191.6 billion KGS (+41.9 per cent).

Revenue administered by the State Customs Service also showed growth. For January–June, it reached 87.4 billion KGS compared with 64.1 billion KGS a year earlier (+36.3%).

Revenue for the national budget also rose significantly. Over the first half of the year, they totalled 408.6 billion KGS, which is 129.8 billion KGS, or 46.5 per cent, more than a year earlier.

Local budget revenues increased from 34.8 billion to 47 billion KGS, up by 12.1 billion KGS, or 34.8 per cent.
